NOTE:  Members of the public who wish to address the Board are asked to fill out a Speaker’s Card, located at the back of the room, and pass the card to the Recording Secretary.  Public comment on Non-Agenda Items will occur during the Public Comments section of the agenda.  In keeping with provisions of the Brown Act, the Board shall take no action or discussion on items which are not on the agenda.

 

The audience may comment on Agenda Items in the Action Session as follows: The Board President will introduce each item, the staff will review the item for the Board and then comments will be accepted from the public. A total of 20 minutes may be allotted for public comment on any agenda item in accordance with Board Policy 9323. With Board consent, the president may increase or decrease the time allowed for public presentation, depending on the topic and the number of persons wishing to be heard. The president may ask that additional persons speak only if they have something new to add.

Recommendation: That the Board approves this technical revision to the dates of the overnight outdoor education study trips for Bahia Vista and Sun Valley fifth grade students.

         
15. EDUCATION SERVICES: (ESD) Approval of the Independent Contractor Agreement for Special Services with the Exploratorium and Gibson and Associates for 2014-2015 School Year      (V)  (C)  
 

Recommendation: That the board approves the Independent Contractor Agreement with the Exploratorium and Gibson and Associates for work with the California Math Science Partnership Grant (CaMSP) entitled iTEAMS.

         
16. EDUCATION SERVICES: (ESD) Approval for Overnight Field Trip to Fort Cronkite NatureBridge, Sausalito, California for San Pedro Fourth Graders from November 24, 2014 through November 25, 2014      (V)  (C)
